The Portes du Soleil are born: a sliding space spanning 12 stations and 2 countries - the France and the Switzerland - 650 Km of skiing. In France: Châtel, La Chapelle d'abondance, abundance, Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Montriond, the Grande Terche. Switzerland: Torgon, Champéry the Crosets Morgins, Champoussin, Val-d'Illiez. The ski area is one of the most diverse in the world, an invitation to travel, the total change of scenery from Summit to Summit, Valley in the Valley.
• Located in the Chablais, at the entrance of the Franco-Swiss domaine des Portes, the Sun and a few steps from Lake Geneva is a village that combines warm hospitality, joys of nature activities and preserved heritage and abundance. • Châtel is situated in the Chablais region at the bottom of a beautiful valley, just before crossing the border to go to Switzerland. Pastoral economy and tourism make good bedfellows. Chatel is at the heart of the Franco-Swiss area of Portes du Soleil. This area is one of the largest in Europe, with 650 km of track for a total of 194 ski lifts. • The Valley of Abondance is part of the Alpine massif du Chablais. the village of Chapel opens all the generosity of its Valley where culminates the Cornettes de Bise and Mont de Grange (2,433 m). A single package allows to ski on the massifs of Braitaz, Crêt-blessed and the station of Switzerland de Torgon, this alpine ski area offers 22 lifts and 75 km of ski slopes. Starting point of the Portes du Soleil, the chapel-Torgon offers 650 km of ski slopes, 35 km of Nordic ski slopes (double tracing: sakting and alternative) and of trails for the fans of snowshoeing. The summer is also the pleasures of deep water, fishing, for a ride through large spaces or siesta, in absolute quiet simply! Mountaineering - Climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, Sports in waters, Via Ferrata, not forgetting the famous cheese of abundance!

• The Massif du Chablais is the second widest massif of the Northern pre-Alps. It is located in Haute-Savoie in the French, Chablais and small part in the canton Valais (Switzerland). The Chablais is a massif of average mountain which peaks at 2432 m the Cornettes de Bise and Mont de Grange, and 2466 m a little further to the South, in the Hauts-Forts. This altitude is ideal for the practice of hiking. A multitude of trails lead on most of the summits: the famous Dent D'oche, visible Evian or Thonon les Memises is a real balcony above Lake Geneva.
